The Willowdale Modern Revival

Project Overview

The Maple Ridge Contemporary Project showcases how an older suburban home can be transformed into a bright, open, and highly functional modern living space. The homeowners wanted a warmer, more inviting environment that balanced clean architectural lines with natural textures. Our team carefully redesigned the layout, expanded living zones, and introduced custom finishes that created a seamless blend of comfort, elegance, and everyday practicality.

Design & Execution

We began by restructuring interior walls to improve flow and maximize usable space. Enlarged window openings were installed to invite more natural light, while soft neutral tones and textured wood finishes added warmth and balance throughout the main living areas.

The kitchen was transformed into a functional centerpiece with custom cabinetry, stone countertops, and integrated storage solutions. Hidden lighting and modern hardware provided a clean, seamless finish that elevated both style and usability.

On the upper level, bedrooms and bathrooms were redesigned with spa-inspired features, sleek vanities, and minimalist tiles. Frameless mirrors and floating fixtures helped maintain a light and airy feeling across each space.

To improve overall performance, we installed energy-efficient windows, upgraded insulation, and introduced smart lighting systems to ensure long-term comfort and sustainability.
